well well~ i have been sharing most of the older movies so far~ today i shall share a newer movie that everyone is so looking forwards to watch~ is Alice in Wonderland that was directed by Tim Bruton~ which is also the director of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Batman, Batman Returns and so on and so forth... a director that i personally quite in love with... and this time~ before i move on to the story i will like to add on about the character and the relationship between the character first~ in case some of you get confuse on my way of story telling~
as you all know that Alice in Wonderland is a fairy tale that this girl named Alice fall into a rabbit hole and discover this fantasy world that is full of adventure and excitement~ but then that just happens to be Alice dream... but this film they make it the other way round... what ever happens in Wonderland is real for Alice... and the real name of Wonderland is called as Underland... and of cause there is a queen of hearts in this Underland doing all the horrible stuff to the people there... and there is the Chessur Cat~ Mad Hatter~ the Dormouse~ the blue and wise full caterpillar~ and of cause Tweedledum and Tweedledee~ who ever or what ever that was suppose to appear in Alice in wonderland is there~ and at the same time there is new character in there as well~ such as the white queen that was the red queen sister~ that flying dragon that helps the red queen call Jabberwocky~ a weird sward that was suppose to slay the Jabberwocky call the Vorpal Sword~ but then is interesting~ mad hatter was once a hat smith of the white queen~ and this Underland place is once belongs to be the white queen... and the white queen army is all of those chest piece~ while the red queen army is all of those cards... and they are careful enough to only show the heart cards... and one day the red queen take this away from the white queen using that flying dragon Jabberwocky... and Alice in suppose to be the girl that slay the dragon with the awesome Vorpal Sword and give the kingdom back to the white queen~ and what ever happen in this Underland is real... Alice have also been here when she was a child... she thoughts that it was all a dream... basically thats all of the connections~ so let me move on to the story...
it started when Alice was still a young girl... she keeps on having this dream that she is falling down into a hole and saw this weird world... and as times pass by that dream didn't seems to go away... then the time fasten up a little shows that she is all grown up and is attending an engagement party that was arrange by her father's business partner... when she was being propose she runaway and go after a rabbit... and of cause she fall into that rabbit hole and when into the Underland just like in the fairy tale... not long after she enter that world then she found out that she was suppose to be this land savior of heroine... her job is to stop the red queen ruling this land and slay that flying dragon... and of cause every normal girl that heard this freaks out right? she never even killed a chicken before and now want her to slay a dragon? she keeps on telling her self that it was just a dream and every thing will be alright after she wake up... but of cause it is not a dream~ in the end she still manage to slay that dragon and save Underland from being violated by the red queen~ and when she finally gets back to her own world which just like the fairy tale the the she come back is almost the same time she falls into that hole... she reject her marriage and focus on making her death father business better... oh i think i forgot to mention to you that her father have died... so that is basically the end~
story wise i think it is an typical but interesting way to twisted a fairy tale... from an innocent falling down into a fatal destiny i think this really gives a whole new point of view for Alice in Wonderland... and as the usual Tim Bruton film it is always full of weird and abnormal character with awesome looking make ups and hair style~ i love most of the character were redesigned... Alice wasn't that childish and stupid anymore... and mad hatter become even more mad then usual... that tea party is really funny... although the rating for this film is only like half and half~ but then i still quite like it... partly is because of my beloved actor was in there and partly is because of the amazing CGI they were using in this film... just like Avatar... heavy CGI movie... it worth to watch it in a big screen~ so please do enjoy it~ =D
