Shrek Forever After (2010)

hello hello~ new movies to share again today~ i present to you all Shrek Forever After~ which is directed by Mike Mitchell~ who have direct film like Surviving Christmas and Sky High~ yes~ is a different directer for the previous three Shrek chapter~ but is still as funny as the previous three chapter~ so i will start with the story now~

as every Shrek fans knows that this is a story that base on a combination of all fairytale~ so this chapter main fairytale is Rumpelstiltskin~ and to those that is not familiar with the fairytale Rumpelstiltskin is about this dwarf that have help a girl and grant her wish and have ask for her first child as return of his help~ the girl agree and then forget about it soon after~ but then when she was married and have given birth for her first baby the dwarf appear again and asked for the child~ any normal woman will freak out to give her first born child away~ so she offer the dwarf all she have in exchange of keeping her child~ in the end the dwarf tell the girl that if she manage to guess his name in three days then he will give up the child~ the first two days the girl failed to guess the dwarf name~ but on the second night a messenger of the girl have come back with a news about this dwarf name~ which is Rumpelstiltskin~ so the girl wins and the dwarf leave angrily~ oh~ and obviously that all fairytale the girl is always married to a prince~ so she is a queen when she have given birth to her child~

so now back to Shrek~ the story starts with a long long ago flash back of the Far Far Away land king and queen going to a creepy place that is full with witches to find Rumpelstiltskin to help them rescue their beloved daughter Fiona~ and in exchange Rumpelstiltskin ask for the whole kingdom~ and just before the king sign the contract the messenger have bring the news that Fiona was saved by Shrek~ and so the deal was not made~ then we come to the present time that Rumpelstiltskin is kind of poor and desperate and hates Shrek of cause~ then we cut to Shrek happy life with Fiona and his kids~ they wake up happily and have meal and play together with Donkey, Puss and Donkey kids~ (wonder where Dragon is... LOLZ) and almost everyday is the same happily ever after mood~ and Shrek was soon tired of this life and wish that he wants to be a real oger again~ and Rumpelstiltskin over heard that and plan on a evil plan~ first he create a chance for Shrek to save him and make that as excuse to get close to Shrek~ and then later on he offer a contract to Shrek and claim that it was his thanks of saving his life~ he granted Shrek wish to be one day of oger again and in exchange he says he will took a day of Shrek childhood life~ and so Shrek have sign the contract and grant his wish of being an oger for a day~

at first things was really great~ he go into the village and scare everyone~ and as he was walking in the forest he saw the wanted oger sign~ and there was a picture of Fiona as well... Shrek was shock and he go and check out the swap that he live but it was not there... and all of a sudden he was attack by a bunch of witches and was taken to Rumpelstiltskin which is the current Far Far Away king.. and Donkey don't even know Shrek at that time... Shrek soon learn that the day Rumpelstiltskin taken from his childhood was hid birthday... after Shrek escape together with Donkey that don't recognize him... at first Donkey was terrified by Shrek but they still become friend... after that Donkey teach Shrek the way to break the contract Rumpelstiltskin given... which is to kiss his true love within this 24 hours... so they set out to find Fiona~ which turns out that she was now the leader of an oger group that is having a revolution against Rumpelstiltskin~ and puss is Fiona pet cat that have grown extremely fat... (but is still cute...) and so to get Fiona kiss Shrek have done a lot of stuff... he tries to explain to Fiona that he is her true love and get her to kiss him... but then nothing happen for the first kiss because Fiona don't believe him and don't love him at all... at the point that Shrek almost give up hope... he learn that Rumpelstiltskin have given a offer to those that manage to bring him Shrek he will grant their wish without any exchange~ so Shrek turns himself in and grant his wish to free all the oger~ and he was lock into the same place were Fiona is... and then a lot of action have happens and Shrek manage to save Fiona with the help of Donkey and Puss and the other orger~ oh~ and of cause Dragon as well~ and at the end of the day Fiona have fall in love with Shrek again and she have kissed him~ everything have gone back to normal~ and they leave happily ever after~

so end of the story~ i have skip a lot of funny parts in this post because is better you all go and watch it yourself rather then reading me trying to tell you how funny it is~ (okay i admit that i am lazy~ forgive the lazy little me~) will story wise is a mixed of a lot of fairytale as usual~ other then the regular character~ this chapter they add in Piped Piper~ witches~ a new bunch of oger~ add on some new ginger biscuit type~ and of cause Rumpelstiltskin~ it was all very funny and interesting~ but then other then funny and interesting i can't think of any other word to describe this movie... story wise is really just a bunch of fairytale... so move on to the animation~ of cause it have becoming smoother and nicer and more effects around it~ well~ if they don't have some certain standard of that they won't sell well in market now a days right?? and they have used a lot of slow motion scenes~ BGM is still fine~ it suits the mood at least~ and what else do i need to cover?? i think that is basically it?? although is not strongly recommended~ but then is really not that bad~ but at least from my point of view is only worth half the price to go in to cinema and watch this... but if you really need a good laugh to like wash away all your sad feeling then i will strongly recommended you to go and watch this movie~ enjoy~ =D

Phobia 4 (2008)

hello hello peoples~ how are you all doing?? do you all miss my movie?? hope you do... for that can be a small little motivation for me~ haha~ so back to movie talk~ this week movie is Phobia or 4bia~ a Thai horror movie that combine four different type of horror and ghost experience~ since is four different horror of cause it was directed by four different directer as well~ the four directer were Youngyoot Tongkongtoon which have direct film such as The Iron Lady and Maid... Banjong Pisanthanakun which is the directer of film Shutter and Alone... Parkpoom Wongpoom which is the co-directer of Shutter and Alone... and the last one is Paween Purijipanya which have direct film such as body #19~ above is the four directer that have work together in this movie~ now lets move on the the story~

first story is about this girl that have injure her leg for some reason and she have difficulties to go out from her apartment~ and for some reason her friends have never visit her for so long~ and so her ways to communicate with other peoples is through mails and text message~ she have become lonely after some times and one day she mysteriously receive a message from a stranger and have made friends with him~ and after some times the stranger asked her to send a photo of her to him~ and so the girl send and ask a return photo of the guy which the guy send back the photo that she have send... and when the girl question the guy about the photo the guy say that he was in this photo as well~ the girl look at it and roughly saw a face beside her... well normally she was kind of freak out and start to research on recent death case~ because she remember once the guy mention that he have been "lying alone" for 100 days... and among all the death case she manage to find out the death news about this guy... he was buried together with his cell phone... well~ normal people that finds out they have been sending message to someone that was already dead will freak out~ and while this girl was freaking out she receive the guy message that he was "coming over" to her place~ and then typical ghost story plot that the lights went out and the girl screaming and the ghost is doing something to her and then she was thrown out the window and die~ and then only the short film shows how the guy died and how the girl leg were injure~ the end of story one~

the second story is about this poor boy that have accidentally found out a bunch of bad student hidden drug and was badly bullied by them~ he was hit and was kick and was also accidentally throw off from the high speed moving vehicle they were on and thus he was badly hurt~ although those bunch of bullies have feel some guilt in them but then they tend to ignore that feeling~ and after some times the boy have slightly recover from the injure and have come back to school~ holding a bunch of books in his hand~ and of cause as bullies they will not let that boy go easily~ so they attempt to beat him up again~ they push him down and those books in his hands naturally falls all over the floor~ and one of the girls pick it up and saw something that terror-fide her... she scream and trip and fall and hit some sharp object right at her neck~ and while everyone was panicking on what to do~ the book that flies from the girls hand land right at the poor boy face~ and he also saw something terror-fide and have trip and fall out from the window and die~ and of cause the whole school was in panic and the bunch of bullies were hurrying to send the injure girl to the hospital~ and mysteriously they got lost and the girl end up dying~ while they were all in a gloomy mood one of the guy point out that he have saw the boy doing some kind of voodoo magic on that book and that might be the main reason why the girl trip and fall and die... another guy don't believe it and took the book and have a look and have cost the air conditional fan to explode and chop his face... and under this wave of panic one by one all of them died except for one girl~ well~ she almost died but then some how the police manage to find her in the truck together with the other dead girl and took her to the police station~ and after some questioning section the police decided to let her go and ask her to stay until her parent arrive~ so she was leave alone and on that time the illusion of all her friends and the boy appear~ they force her to look at the book but then she refuse and in the end she dig out her eye balls and gone blind~ end of the second story~

and the third story is about this four good friend they went to camping at the mountain and was talking about some ghost story to entertain them self before sleep~ but then they were scare of their own ghost story as well and so they decided to cut that crap and just sleep~ the next day they went on rafting and one of the guy have gone to excited and cost the boat to turn at the rushing water~ one of the guy doesn't know how to swim and another guy that is good at swimming jump in and save him~ oddly that when he reach the guy both of them drown as well~ and somehow the drown guy manage to get on shore but the other friend that jump in was lost... although they have try finding him all the way along the stream but then they can't find him and was getting dark... so they went back to the camp and decided to sleep and continue the search tomorrow believing that their friend were all right... but then soon after they get into the tent were set at the position to sleep the tend zip open!! it was their missing friend that have come back~ they were so glad to see him that he was alright~ but then one of the guy found it weird that after drown he never even have a scratch... and then somehow and someway which i have forgot they found the dead body of their friend and was freak out~ they escape from the tent and they saw another body at the river side that was facing down... they though it was their friend's body since their friend were at the other side of the river... but then when they turn the body around it was them... confuse and freak out they have no idea that they were all dead around the time they boat turn... well... some thing like that... i think?? so yea... end of story three~

the forth story is this stewardess that was in the same flight with a princess... she was having hard time serving this princess... and when is meal time the princess refuse to eat the royal meal that was specially order for her... she wants to try out the normal meal that the other passenger have... and after the meal it seems like the princess have some kind of allergic reaction which have cost her death... and the princess body was immediately send back to her country for the cremation and the stewardess were to stay at the flight as well... and so she was all alone at the passenger seats together with the princess body... and a lot of weird things have happened... although she have tried to tell the captain but then the captain do not believe her and ignore her... and in the end she died duel to... i think is over shock?? so yea... end of the forth story~

well~ story wise.... is kind of all over the place and is not really that scary... and at some point i almost fall a sleep... well... it just typical horror story that want to scare the shit out of you~ but then for me that was kind of a fail... since first... it was not scary at all because most of that was kind of predictable~ second the model ghost is really really weird~ is kind of a low quality ghost that makes me laugh rather then scare... sorry to those special effect team in this movie... and according the my research~ although this four stories looks like is some it was all over the place but then it was secretly connected to each other~ but then it was all at the place that i will easily ignore... so i don't really know which part of it... but anyway~ this is a not so horror horror movie~ i think even those that have small guts container can go and watch?? hahaha~ but then i don't strongly recommended to everyone... since is just so-so only.... but still if you wanted to watch it then enjoy laughing at the ghost~ =D

Kick-Ass (2010)

hello peoples~ its been a while i have been here writing again~ one big main reason is that i am kind of a lazy person and i was away for a while~ haha~ sorry for that~ but then today i have bring you all Kick-Ass~ a film directed by Matthew Vaughn~ he also have direct film such as Lock, Snatch, Layer Cake and etc etc~ and the original story is base on the same name comic book Kick-Ass written by Mark Millar and John Romita. Jr. so below is what the story about.

Dave Lizewski was a normal teenage boy that randomly comes out an idea of no one being a real life super hero before and he wanted to be the first one to do that... and so he bough a set of so called the best super hero suit for him and started out with a car robber that he randomly walk into... but he was stab on the stomach soon after he try stopping them and was also knock down by a car while he was struggling to get help... although he manage to ask the rescue team to keep his hero costume a secret and survive from that "accident"... after this his crash on school, Katie, starts notice him and starts making friend with him... but she thinks that he was gay... but Dave go along with the gay play anyway... and even after he recover from the wounds he still wanted to keep up with the hero thing... and he manage to help a guy out from three gangster... his act was recorded by a bunch of youngster and was posted up on YouTube... in that video he called himself Kick-Ass and this video has turn viral... so he set a MySpace for Kick-Ass and accept request to help people out... and his act have caught the attention of Big Daddy... which is a former cop named Damon... but with a lot of reason he was being held prison and have lost his wife during that time and have probably gone half mad about this... and before his wife died she manage to help him give birth to a daughter which was trained to be an awesome fighter by him after he was off prison.... she was known as Hit-Girl...

anyway~ one day Katie have told Dave that she was been harassed by a drug dealer and was troubled by this... so Dave suggest Katie to ask a help from Kick-Ass and she did... so Dave as Kick-Ass have to go and track down this drug dealer and was almost been killed in this fight... but he was save by Big Daddy and Hit-Girl... after this Big Daddy shows interested in Kick-Ass and says that they can work together... but Kick-Ass was actually kind of freak out at that moment so he didn't manage to respond to them and Big Daddy and Hit-Girl left... but after this Kick-Ass caught the attention of the drug lord, Frank D'Amico, which believes that Kick-Ass was responsible to what ever happen on the drug dealer place which is under his control... Frank was totally pissed off about Kick-Ass and killed a person that dress up like Kick-Ass... Frank wanted to find out the real Kick-Ass and his son, Chris, suggest to him that he can lure out Kick-Ass by dressing up as a fellow hero as well... and so Red Mist was created to get Kick-Ass trust and lure him into a trap that Frank have set... but then when Kick-Ass and Red Mist have get to the place they found out that it was being set on fire and everyone in there were killed... Red Mist have retrieve some footage about what happen in that place and they found out that Big Daddy was the one who is really responsible about all the thing... realizing what he have been suck into Kick-Ass decided to quit being a hero... so he revive his true identity to Katie and tell her that he is not gay... and they end up being together and Kick-Ass was being silence ever since... but then later on Kick-Ass receive a urgent message from Red Mist that he was in trouble after that and needs help... so Kick-Ass ends up taking Red Mist to Big Daddy and Hit-Girl... which turns out to be a trap from Frank to lure out both Kick-Ass and Big Daddy... they were held hostage and have a video posted up live on Kick-Ass MySpace page that they were brutally tortured and were be told to be unmasked at the end of the show... and Big Daddy even have been set on fire...

although Hit-Girl have manage to save them on time but then Big Daddy was being badly burn and died shortly after that... feeling sad and guilty Hit-Girl and Kick-Ass have decided to stop Frank from selling drugs... so Hit-Girl dress up as a lost school girl she manage to get into Frank building and kill almost all of the people there... but she runs out of bullet right before she reached Frank and a few more henchman was attacking her... before one of Frank trusty henchman fire a bazooka to Hit-Girl Kick-Ass appears with a jet pack fitted with guns... he shoot down all the remaining people and both him and Hit-Girl head to Frank office were him and Red Mist was there... so Kick-Ass take on Red Mist and Hit-Girl take on Frank... Kick-Ass and Red Mist have equal fighting skill and was both knock out by each other... and on the other hand Hit-Girl have been in a bad position with the fight with Frank... since she is still a small little girl power wise she is not as strong as Frank... as Frank was about to finish Hit-Girl once and for all Kick-Ass manage to regain conscious just in time to save Hit-Girl with the bazooka that henchman left... and Red Mist come back later on to find both of them escaping... after this fight both Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl have retired from being hero and live a normal life... Hit-Girl have go back to her real name Mindy and was under the care of her father former trusty partner Marcus... and she have transfer into the school Dave was because Dave promise Marcus that he would take care of her in school which is clearly she don't needed it... and they also shows that Dave and Katie have been doing really fine after that and Dave voice over have told us that there were more hero being born after him which is most of them were the act of Red Mist wearing new mask and new out fit...

so that is the end of Kick-Ass~ story wise i think it was interesting although it was a typical hero movie~ but then what i like about this is that all the heroes in this movie they were neither super nor abnormal~ they were all just normal people like us~ and although this movie is quite violence and bloody to even show a small little girl killing other peoples... but i like it~ well... little kids might get the wrong ideas that killing and fighting for a good reason is not wrong... so is really not advice for kids that is below 16 to watch this although the rating at my place is 13PG... another thing i like to mention about this movie i that the background music choice is kind of awesome~ although it was a breath taking fighting scene but then they choose to play on a slow and classy music and make everything in slow-motion~ it didn't ruin the scene at all~ in fact the scene become more awesome after they have did this~ i like the way they do this~ and effect wise... well movie now a days all have awesome effects that will just get better and better... so i don't feel like commenting on the effects any more... but the character~ character is totally funny and interesting for me~ well it was not the most creative character i might say~ but then it fits into the story perfectly~ this is a violence but good movie~ worth watching and collect it~ enjoy peoples~ =D
